First clinical trials on potent new hepatitis C drug successfully completed
“Scientists have successfully completed the first clinical trials on a new investigational drug being developed to treat infections caused by Hepatitis C virus.”

Officials report outbreak of hepatitis C in Dakota County St. Paul, Minn. – “An outbreak of hepatitis C has been reported in Dakota County, and health officials say most of the cases are in young adults who had been sharing needles to use drugs.”

Hepatitis C Increases Among Young Adults
ROSEBURG, Ore. – “Ever since a disease prevention center moved locations in Roseburg, it's seen an increase in Hepatitis C cases among young adults.”

New Partnership Forms To Address The Hepatitis B And C Epidemic In Europe
“At least 23 million European Union (EU) citizens are currently living with hepatitis B or hepatitis C,[i] both cancer-causing viruses. In a direct response to the health burden this presents and the recent recognition by the WHO of the seriousness of hepatitis as a global health issue, a unique Partnership comprising key international public and private stakeholders has formed to drive the first EU-wide initiative on hepatitis B and C.”

Hep C Discussion Point™ is a series of questions about your experience living with and managing hepatitis C. You simply answer the questions, and a customized list of information (discussion points) is produced to help you and your health care providers work together to maximize your health.

Hep C Discussion Point™ was designed by the Caring Ambassadors Hepatitis C Program along with a team of medical advisors. Hep C Discussion Point™ is an easy way to learn more about how best to work with your doctors to improve or maintain your health while living with hepatitis C.
