About CAP-Hepatitis C

The Caring Ambassadors Hepatitis C Program mission is to improve the lives of people living with hepatitis C through information and awareness. 

CAP-Hepatitis C activities fall into two primary areas:

Awareness Initiatives

Goal: Everyone that has hepatitis C knows it.

Projects:

  • Internet content
  • Training programs for health care professionals
  • HCV screening events and local test site information
  • Information programs - multimedia
  • Advocacy work

Disease Management Initiatives

Goal: People living with hepatitis C have the best disease management information available.

Projects:

  • Hepatitis C Choices book
  • Choices in Care Patient Workshops
  • Community Outreach
